We are all Picassos-in-training.  After all, success is a journey and not a destination, right?  If you’re like me, you’ve tried to go it alone before or you’re terrified of it.  Either way, we all need a little support and encouragement as we learn and grow.  Setting goals and getting from point A to point B can often be a very daunting challenge.  Life Coaches can help share a new perspective, a bird’s eye view of your strengths and weaknesses, providing you with new tools, clarity, self-knowledge,  and help you create a game plan to get to your desired destination aka the life you dream of living.  Here a few things to consider when hiring a Life Coach…hopefully, me! Wink, wink.

Coaching is collaborative in nature.  We are trained to ask questions and listen.  With permission, helpful suggestions can be made.  When was the last time you felt fully heard and understood?  Hiring a coach is an opportunity to guarantee undivided attention to your goals and dreams.  When people feel fully understood they move forward instantly.  When I work with clients, I pay attention to the speed that is right for them to work, but it is common that situations will be turned around and improved quickly in all areas of life.  We can look at all of the Life Zones and determine where to put our focus first.  Then we go to work creating more of what a client wants in each area of life.

Rising above the muck and getting unstuck is the most important job in coaching.  Sometimes it’s hard to know what to do when relationships are strained and we are experiencing separation, strong feelings, negative feedback, and other bumps in the road.  It’s also difficult to see our own habits and how they might be affecting our progress.  A coach is there to offer a new perspective and strategies to help you connect with your inner wisdom to find solutions to anything holding you back.

Coaches can help a client define what they really want.  It’s a fairly simple process that most of us don’t know how to do on our own or we are too close to our own challenges.  Success is a basic human right and it has nothing to do with deserving anything, privilege, or background.  Once a client knows what they want, they can overcome anything with the proper plan and support.  Coaches can help the client understand their relationship in planning the actions required to achieve their desires.

Human beings operate at less than 10% percent of our potential according to George Leonard in a study he did across the United States.  Working with a Life Coach has the potential to increase this, in some cases, it’s been dramatic in my work with clients.  Though we steer clients away from aiming for perfection, you really can live your dreams and make progress!

My practice is open and I’m ready to assist you in living the life you’ve imagined today!
